What kind of next stage car seat should I buy?
My daughter has almost grown out of her Chicco car seat. I need to purchase a next stage one – the convertible kind. Any advise on which kind to buy? Please tell me pros and cons, brand, and any other valuable info I should know. I was reading that Britax Marathon was the best on the market. Anyone have that one that can voice an opinion? Thanks in advance.
I have a Britax roundabout (made for smaller cars) and I really like it. It is very well made and easy to install in different cars when we travel.
We also have a alpha omega elite in our second car. It was very hard to install and the snap that goes across the chest has started to get weird. I would avoid the seats with the round botton type clasp across the chest. I say go with Britax-they cost a little more, but they have a very high safety rating, plus your child will be in a convertible for a long time so its a good investment.
Oh, even though I have a full size sedan (07 camry) we got the roundabout because we could fit it in the middle seat which is supposed to be the safest.
